Abruzzo in a box - a beautiful medium-bodied red packed with cherry fruit and notes of crushed black pepper.

History
The Casimirri family have lovingly tended their 49 acres of vinesand olive groves in the Abruzzo region for more than half a century. The grapes are hand tended and harvested by local villagers in the cooler hours of the day, then spirited off to the winery as quickly as possible to achieve the distinctive fresh taste for which the Casimirris' wines are held in such high regard in the region.

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is an Italian red wine made from the Montepulciano wine grape in the Abruzzo region of east-central Italy.

Temperature controlled in stainless steel with skins still on grapes. Placed in Slovenian oak barrels for about six months.
