This Portuguese Vinho Verde is pale straw yellow in colour with green hues and is light and zesty on the palate. An exceptional wine with persistent aromas of lime, hints of melon and a lively and refreshing finish.

History
Founded in 1959, the Adega Cooperativa de Ponte de Lima is situated in the ancient town of Ponte de Lima, Portugal's oldest town, and represents around 2000 growers, their families and workers, making it one of the major contenders for thr increasingly fashionable Vinho Verde within the area

Regional Information
Among white wines, the Loureiro variety is of particular importance due to its magnificent adaption to the terroir of the Lima valley, making wines highly appreciated for their freshness, fruit and aroma profiles with medium alcoholic strength

2018

Vinification Details
Grapes are destemmed and crushed as soon as they arrive at the cooperative. Next the crushed grapes are pressed. The must is clarified using static decantation at a controlled temperature (16°C). Alcoholic fermentation then occurs at a controlled temperature of between 18°C and 20°C. Before being stabilised the wine is filtered. After stabilisation it if filtered again and only then prepared for bottling
