The very ample nose expresses intense red berry and pinkgrapefruit aromas. This refreshing promise is affirmed in the mouth by dominantnotes of raspberry and redcurrant underscored by the freshness of citrus. Thisrose wine's harmony and perfect balance prolongs the pleasure of tasting in along, sweet finale. Perfect with saffron risotto with langoustines.
Chateau la Gordonne is an historical domain founded in 17thcentury. The bell seen on the bottle is the Chateau's historically listedemblem, dating back to 1654. It originates from a former chapel located on thegrounds of La Gordonne. First harvest at the vineyard was in 1652 and theestate has been producing exquisite cuvees ever since.
Chateau La Gordonne is established in Pierrefeu-du-Var, inthe heart of the Golden Triangle of Provence. It is a unique property inProvence, covering vineyards planted on seaward-facing terraces of shale, whichenjoy a special microclimate. This allows the vineyards to grow in the bestconditions to produce high-quality grapes. Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault grapes are planted in schist-based soil andmature in a harmonious balance with our terroir under the Provencal sun.
