Regional information: The Western Cape region is the hub of wine production in South Africa, with the major vineyard regions situated around the bustling city of Cape Town. A combination of cool sea breezes and warm, sunny climate makes for perfect conditions for both red and white wines.
Vinification: This wine is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinotage. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes were crushed and fermented at cool temperatures with lees contact following fermentation for 3 months. The Pinotage grapes were crushed and macerated for 6 hours to obtain a pink juice, after which the must was fermented at cool temperatures.
