Storage

Sparkling wines and Champagne should alwaysbe stored in a cool and dry place away from light and heat sources. The idealtemperature for storage is 13-15 degrees C.    

Warning:  Sparkling wines  containhigh natural pressure. Do not allow bottles to get warm. Chill bottle beforeopening and avoid shaking. Point bottle away from others and yourself whenremoving wire, hood and cork. Hold the cork firmly and twist out slowly byhand. Never in any circumstances use a corkscrew to open.

Jacob's Creek winemaking tradition dates back to 1847 when Johann Gramp planted his first vineyard on the banks of Jacob's Creek

Regional Information
Chardonnay and Pinot Noir fruit for this wine was sourced from selected viticultural regions of South East Australia. Typically, the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes are harvested early in vintage , when they have fresh varietal flavours and high natural acidity.

Vinification Details
The grapes were harvested in the cool of the night. Gentle pressing produced fresh clean juice with delicate fruit flavours. The attracitve gas effervesence and yeast complexity in this wine has been achieved through secondary fermentation and contact with yeast lees. The yeast contact adds a creamy complexity to the nid palate, supporting the fresh varietal grape flavours.
