| The front label of our Cotes du Rhone depicts the helmet of the Knights Templar, a monastic order that, during the Middle Ages, established religious communities and planted vineyards around the Plan de Dieu, where this wine is produced. By Bernard Latour at Domaine de l'Espigouette, this old vine blend of 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre undergoes a traditional style vinification and is further aged in oak. Ruby red in colour, this wine displays aromas of red and black berry fruits with whispers of basil and black pepper. The palate offers a generous helping of juicy berry fruit, together with subtle, savoury undertones, all supported by crunchy fine grain tannins.
