History
The first traces of the Chateau's site date back to Gaullist times. The Chateau's cellar structure or foundation housed an original Chateau tha was given by the Comte de Provence to Gerard de Villeneuve, in 1201.

Regional Information
This historic region sits along the Mediterranean coast of France, bordered by the Rhone River to the west and the Cote d'Azur on the east.Cotes de Provence is the biggest producer in the region with about 75% of wine production (of which 89% is Rose), this region is also the most diverse.
