History
This range of wines comes from the award-winning Anakena winery, which is nestled in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. Every Spring, the Easter Island sea bird (Manutara) lays its precious egg in coastal cliffs. The Birdman legend tells the story of how the men from Rapa Nui (Easter Island) would show their worth by swimming the long distance to the islet of Moto Nui in search of an egg. The first islander to bring it back safely was given the title of 'Tangata Manu', the Birdman.

Regional Information
Grown in a Mediterranean climate, this Cabernet Sauvignon shows rich, ripe blackcurrant flavours.

Vinification Details
A combination of machine and hand-harvesting, followed by pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks to retain freshness of fruit. This wine has undergone 100% malolactic fermentation with no oak maturation, producing a fresh, smooth wine.
