The Mini Discovery Set is the ideal place to begin with The Ordinary. It features miniature sizes of some of our most popular formulations for a complete skincare regimen. These are presented in a branded pouch that is perfect for storing skincare products, either at home or during travel. The pouch is also made from cellulose, meaning that when it comes time to dispose of it, you can remove the zip and the pouch becomes completely biodegradable. The set includes a cleanser, exfoliating toner, face serums, an eye serum and a moisturiser, which can be used together in a daily regimen.
Squalane Cleanser is a moisturising cleanser that helps dissolve makeup, dirt and impurities. The balm-like texture includes squalane - a well-studied moisturising ingredient - and leaves skin feeling smooth and soft as it dissolves makeup. The formulation is suitable for all skin types, and can be used twice daily.
Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner is a daily AHA exfoliating toner that exfoliates skin surface, for smoother, brighter-looking skin. The formulation contains a 7% concentration of glycolic acid, and helps to boost skin radiance as well as promoting more even-looking skin, making it suitable for those with concerns around dullness or uneven tone.
Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is a universal serum that helps smooth the feel of skin texture and visibly brighten skin tone. The formulation includes a high concentration of niacinamide, complemented by zinc PCA, and also helps reduce the appearance of excess shine.
Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 is our most-loved hydration serum, offering instant hydration and plumping. The lightweight formulation contains five forms of hyaluronic acid, pro-vitamin b5 and ceramides, and helps replenish skin’s hydration levels, while also helping the skin retain moisture to re-plump dry, dehydrated skin.
Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG is a depuffing eye serum that helps brighten tired eyes. With a 5% concentration of caffeine combined with a highly purified EGCG, the formulation helps brighten the appearance of dark circles around the eye area, while also reducing the look of puffiness.
Natural Moisturising Factors + HA is a daily moisturiser, suitable for all skin types, that works with your skin to support its natural hydration barrier. By using a collection of ingredients that appear naturally in your skin - such as amino acids, phospholipids and hyaluronic acid - this cream keeps the outer layer of your skin protected and well-hydrated, without feeling greasy.
How to use:
To use the formulations together in a regimen, cleanse morning and evening with Squalane Cleanser, and in the evening follow with Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner. After cleansing and toning, apply a few drops of Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and once dry follow with a few drops of Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5. Apply a small amount of Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG to the eye contour, and finish your regimen with a small amount of Natural Moisturising Factors + HA.
