Preparation and Safety

Cooking instructions: Hob

Before cooking: Place 400ml cold water in a large saucepan. During cooking: Bring to boil. Add the polenta gradually to the water. Stir continuously with a whisk. Reduce to low and simmer for 1 minute for soft polenta or 5 minutes for a firmer texture. To cook on the hob 5-8 mins. Drain: Season to taste and use as required. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
