History
Rimapere means five arrows in Maori and simultaneously honours the Rothschild family's coat of arms and traditional New Zealand culture. Benjamin de Rothschild dreamed of creating his own sauvignon blanc wine. He had to find the perfect gem and corresponding jewellery box for a precise wine-growing endeavour, far from the industrial vineyards also present in Marlborough.
Regional Information
Rimapere is in the prestigious Rapaura region, in the 'Golden Triangle' of Marlborough. This region is known to have the very best growing conditions and neighbours include the prestigious Craggy Range and Cloudy Bay.

Destemmed 30% Whole Bunch 70%. Fermentation in open top stainless steel tanks. Aged in French oak barriques for 9 months. Filtered but not fined.
