Preparation and Usage
For aperitif with a dry white, ros or sparkling wine, or in cocktails.
As a topping on apple or pear sorbet or vanilla or nougat ice cream.
Try the famous Bramble cocktail created in the 1980s by Dick Bradsell, Freds Club, London.
>Ingredients:
40 ml Gin
30 ml lemon juice
15 ml Giffard White sugar cane syrup
20 ml Giffard Crme de Mre (Blackberry liqueur)
>Preparation:
1. Ice up half of the glass (rock) with crushed ice
2. Pour the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup
3. Churn to incorporate ingredients
4. Slowly pour the crme de mre to create a marbling effect
5. Garnish with a lemon wedge & blackberries and serve
