the fragrance was inspired by the history of cartier who have long had a history with a panther symbol and had previously released a perfume called panthre back in 1986 in the top notes of the fragrance are notes of dried fruits rhubarb big strawberry anise and bergamot the heart of the fragrance contains notes of gardenia rose ylangylang orange blossom and pear and base notes of oakmoss musk leather and patchouli the fragrance is a sensual powdery one with gorgeous floral notes including an excellent gardenia note this is best suited to the colder weather of autumn and winter
