This Waitrose No.1 fusilli bucati is a traditional Italian pasta produced in Gragnano, the birthplace of pasta. Crafted with bronze-die shaping and slow drying, its rough hollow spirals cling to creamy sauces, making it perfect with Gorgonzola. Boil for 9-11 minutes for an al dente bite.
Our No. 1 Fusilli Bucati is made in the hillside town of Gragnano in Italy, renowned as the birthplace of pasta. Time-honoured techniques and ingredients have earned this pasta IGP status: it's shaped using traditional bronze dies for a slightly roughened surface which holds more sauce, then slowly dried to capture the delicate flavour of durum wheat semolina. The spiral shape of fusilli bucati is hollow, giving the pasta extra bite, delicious with a creamy Gorgonzola sauce.

Cooking Instructions: Hob: Hob. Boil: 9-11 minutes. Allow approximately 90g dry pasta per 180g cooked serving. For best results, place pasta in a saucepan of boiling water, boil for 9-11 minutes, stirring occasionally. A shorter cooking time results in a more al dente (firm) texture. When the pasta is cooked drain immediately and serve. Pasta absorbs water when cooked. 90g of uncooked pasta weighs 180g when cooked. Nutrition per serving is based on cooked weight.
Storage: Store in a cool dry place away from strong light and odours.
