1121 Basmati is cultivated in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains. It's renowned as a fragrant rice due to the incredible aroma it emits when cooking. The longer slender grain delivers a distinctive, nutty aroma and delicate texture. Veetee Basmati is steam milled to protect the grain from breaking and cracking.

Cooking Time: 12 minutes
Break the perforation around the box, and slide off lid.
Use the line inside the lid to measure one 70g portion of rice.

For Perfect Rice
Use the line inside the lid to measure one 70g portion of rice per person and rinse in cold water.
Bring large pan of water to the boil. Add the rice to the pan, stir well, and bring back to the boil.
Add salt or other seasoning to taste and then cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes. Once cooked, remove from the heat and drain well. Ensure your rice is piping hot before serving. All cooking appliances very. These are guidelines only.
