Quinta da Calada is in the heart of the Vinho Verde region in Amarante. Owned by the da Mota family since 1917, the winery is one of the oldest producers in Vinho Verde, with a focus on high quality white wines and sparkling.
Regional Information
Nestled in northwest Portugal, the Vinho Verde wine region captivates with its lush landscapes, granite soils, and Atlantic influence. The cool temperatures allow for a long growing season that promotes gradual ripening and creates wines with great vitality and complex flavours.

Vinification Details
The carefully selected grapes were de-stemmed and lightly pressed with the extracted juice transferred to each stainless steel vat using gravity rather than a pump. It was then fermented at controlled temperatures over two weeks before filtering and bottling.
