Size Selection For selecting the correct size, your dog's chest size is the best measurement to use. Simply measure your dog's chest just behind the front legs at its largest point. When fitting ThunderShirt make sure it's snug to give that calming hug! Your dog won't feel the vest benefits if it is wrapped loosely.

How to use

It's a good idea to introduce ThunderShirt to your dog when they are happy and relaxed. Treats on/around the jacket can be a great way to encourage your dog to investigate it and start to build a positive association with ThunderShirt. Once your dog is comfortable with ThunderShirt itself, place it on your dog and reward them for relaxed body language. Lastly, if they continue to be comfortable, gently use the hook and fasteners to adjust to the correct fit.


Important info

ThunderShirt is made with durable, washable fabric. When necessary, ThunderShirt may be washed in a regular cycle using regular laundry detergent and cold water. Hang to dry. Prior to washing, make sure to connect all of the hook and loop fasteners to avoid the risk that they might grab other fabrics in the wash.
