Water once a week. We recommend watering from the base for these larger indoor house plants, allow to soak for 10 minutes in a sink with cold water. If the soil is already damp, let it dry out a little before watering again. Feed with a generic houseplant feed every couple of months, however this shouldn’t be needed for the first 3-6 months. The Monstera likes sunshine but don't pick a spot that's too hot!

The Monstera is more than just a pretty plant to look at. It can grow up to 20m in the right conditions, with incredible tendril-like roots. These have been used to make ropes or baskets in countries like Mexico and Peru.
