Sports Injury Kinesiology Tape can be applied over muscles to reduce pain & inflammation, relax overused tired muscles and to support muscles in movement on a 24hr/day basis.

The cut tape should not be placed directly on an open wound.
Care should be taken to ensure that the tape is secure but not too tight as this can restrict circulation and cause swelling – if this occurs remove the strapping immediately.

If an allergic reaction occurs remove the rpoduct immediately.

It is recommended to apply the Kinesio Tape half an hour before activity and for the best adhesion results it is recommended to remove any body hair from the area where the tape is being applied. Ensure the skin is clean and dry and then cut the tape to the desired length. Peel back the backing paper, and stretch and apply to the skin. Rub over the tape when applied.
It is not a restrictive type of tape, and allows for full range of motion. In contrast, traditional sports taping is wrapped around a joint strictly for stabilization and support during a sporting event.
