Preparation and Safety

Cooking instructions: Hob

The day before: Soak 100g beans in 500ml cold water overnight. Before cooking: Drain and rinse thoroughly, place the soaked beans into a large saucepan with 500ml water. During cooking: Bring to boil and boil for 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid and simmer for 40 minutes or until beans have softened but slightly firm to bite. To cook on the hob 50 mins. Drain: Drain and rinse thoroughly. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.

Do not eat uncooked. This product should be soaked overnight, placed in fresh water and boiled rapidly for at least 10 minutes, including before slow cooking.
