Preparation and Safety

Cooking instructions: Hob

Before cooking: no need to soak. Rinse thoroughly before cooking. Place 100g of lentils into a large saucepan with 500ml cold water. During cooking: Bring to boil and boil for 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to low, simmer for 30 minutes. To cook on the hob 40 mins. Drain: Rinse and use as required. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
