Method
1 Preheat your oven to 240C /220C FAN/ gas mark 8 and generously grease with butter 6 ramekins.
2 Melt the butter and chocolate pieces in the microwave (900W) for 1 min and stir until smooth.
3 In a mixing bowl gently whisk the eggs and water (if using).
4 Add the melted butter and chocolate to the eggs and water (if using) and gently fold together using a spatula.
5 Add the melt in the middle pudding mix and gently fold together until combined.
6 Evenly distribute the mixture between the 6 ramekins and line them up on a baking tray.
7 Bake in the preheated oven for about 8 minutes. Once baked the edges should be firm to the touch but the centre should still have a slight wobble.
8 Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Carefully run a knife around the edge of each pudding, 1 then turn out onto serving plates.
