Storage
Sparkling wines and Champagne should always be stored in a cool and dry place away from light and heat sources. The ideal temperature for storage is 13-15C.
Warning: Sparkling wines contain high natural pressure. Do not allow bottles to get warm. Chill bottle before opening and avoid shaking. Point bottle away from others and yourself when removing wire, hood and cork. Hold the cork firmly and twist out slowly by hand. Never in any circumstances use a corkscrew to open.

History
With a long and varied history dating back to its beginnings in 1785 when it was created by Florens-Louis Heidsieck, Piper-Heidsieck is one of Champagne's most well-known yet under-estimated houses. Today the house is owned by the same family as Charles Heidsieck, Rare Champagne, Biondi Santi and Chateau la Verrerie, benefitting from the quality ethos that drives the continual investment in winemaking and vineyards from the Descours family.

This signature cuve of the House is a round and vibrant non-vintage cuve Brut, recalling the rich variety of its blend of 100 crus from across the patchwork of Champagne vineyards. The vineyards are located in Montagne de Reims, Cte des Blancs, Aube and Valle de la Marne.

Vinification Details
First fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks. After blending, the wine was bottled and then kept for three years to mature in the cellars of Piper-Heidsieck. The yeast was expelled in a process called disgorgement and the bottle was topped up with some reserve wine. The bottles were allowed to rest for six months before being shipped.
