Preparation and Usage
The Perfect PairingA perfectly mild balance of spices. The turmeric and coriander compliment the earthiness of the butternut squash beautifully, whilst the cardamom and cumin bring out the sweetness and wonderful aroma.Shopping List250g Butternut squash, peeled and cut into 1cm cubesSmall bunch of corianderSmall bunch of mintMild & aromatic biryani meal kit for 2:1 Sizzle the paste in 1tbsp of sunflower oil for 20 secs. Add diced butternut squash and 250ml of water and cook on a high heat for 10 mins, stirring occasionally, until nearly all the water has evaporated and the butternut squash is softening.2 Massage the sachet of rice and layer it over the vegetables. Cook on low for 3 mins with the lid on, then take off the heat and leave for a further 3 mins.3 Chop and stir through the coriander & mint. Serve and garnish with the crispy onions.Try... This kit also tastes great with aubergine, cauliflower or even chicken (shhhh..... ).On the side... We recommend serving with Patak's Plain Naan
