Preparation and Usage
Place 1/2 heaped teaspoon of matcha into a tea strainer over a mug or bowl and sift to remove any lumps. Add a few drops of 80 water and mix to create a paste. Fill with more 80 water and whisk until frothy and smooth.

Did you know that Matcha actually means POWERED LEAF? What that means is you are actually consuming the whole leaf instead of the infusion of a tea bag.
OMGTEA's AAA Grade Matcha(Organic Matcha Green Tea) award winning premium ceremonial tea is grown in Kagoshima, a province known for its organic farming. Our tea fields are shaded for four weeks before being picked, which boosts their chlorophyll content; the plants are then harvested by hand with only the finest leaves from the first harvest used. They are then ground using a traditional granite stone mill, a process that takes around an hour to grind 30 grams.

Matcha has about 30-35mgs of natural caffeine but also contains L-Theanine, which enhances the production of alpha brainwaves, the brainwaves present in deep relaxation. This results in a slow release of energy over 3-6 hours.
