This is our traditional recipe; please adjust the water or milk level to suit your own preferences.; Hob - From Ambient. For one portion mix 40g (1/2 cup) with 200ml (1 cup) water or milk in a saucepan and bring to the boil; Boil for 1 minute while stirring gently.
Remove from the heat and stand for 1 minute before serving.; Microwave - From Ambient. For one portion mix 40g (1/2 cup) with 200ml (1 cup) water or milk in a microwave suitable bowl; cook on ful power for 1 minute; stir, then cook for a further 1 minute. Leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.
Based on an 800W microwave oven. If yours is different adjust the time to suit.
