Preparation and Usage
Cooking instructions
Serving size: 50g of rice per serving
1. Rinse rice in cold water.
2. Bring a pan of seasoned water to the boil.
3. Add the rice to the pan, stir and then return to the boil.
4. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
5. Remove from heat, drain well and serve.
Do not reheat.
Tips: Stir through some kidney beans, spring onions and chopped red pepper for a salad.
Instructions
Cooking Instructions - General. Place 75g of rice blend per person into sieve and rinse well in cold running water.
Do not reheat.; Hob - From Ambient. Place the rice blend in a large saucepan and cover with cold water. Add salt, stir and bring to the boil. Simmer for 16 min or until rice blend is tender.
Drain, fluff with fork and serve.

Wholegrain Rice & Quinoa Salad with Feta, Pomegranate & Mint
Serves 4
200g Wholegrain Rice & Quinoa Blend, cooked & cooled
1 cucumber, diced
1 small red onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh coriander, finely chopped
2 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped
3 tbsp Extra Virgin olive oil
1 tub pomegranate seeds
200g feta cheese, crumbled Salt and black pepper
1. Place the cooked rice & quinoa blend into a large bowl.
2. Stir the cucumber chunks, red onion, coriander and mint into the rice & quinoa blend.
3. Stir in the olive oil, pomegranate seeds, feta and season with salt and pepper.
Finishing touches...
Garnish with additional fresh coriander leaves.
