Preparation and Usage: Boil enough water to cover the pasta in a large saucepan on the hob. Add pasta, stir and boil for 3 minutes. Drain and serve.

Recipe: Delicious Authentic Vermicelli Kheer. Heat 2 tbsp butter ghee in a pan. Add 2 cloves and 2 green cardamoms, cook till they release a strong aroma. Add 1 cup broken vermicelli and fry till golden brown. Add 500ml milk, bring to the boil and add 3 tbsp sugar. Simmer on a low heat till the vermicelli is cooked through. Serve hot or chilled.
