History
Established by Giovanni Carminucci in 1928, the Carminucci estate is now run by the founder's son, Piero, who produces high quality wines from organically farmed grapes.
Regional Information
The grapes come from a single vineyard 'Ciafone' which is located in the Piceno area of the Falerio DOC, in the south of the Marche region. The vineyard is situated at an elevation of 200 to 300 metres above sea-level, where it is gently influenced by sea breezes from the Adriatic Sea.

Vinification Details
The hand-picked grapes were carefully selected and each variety was vinified separately. The fruit was macerated for 12 hours to extract aromatics and flavours. The must was clarified through cold static decantation prior to being fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts. The wine was aged in stainless steel tanks for a minimum of three months to showcase the terroir.
