Make Your Own Chilean Asado Rub
Recipe {Coats four large beefsteaks}
- 60ml vinegar
- 60ml water
- 6 garlic cloves, crushed
- 4 tsp cumin
- 4 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp marjoram
- Salt and pepper
Mix water and vinegar and drizzle over the beefsteaks. Combine the rest of the ingredients and massage the rub onto the meat. Allow it to marinate for 1-4 hours and add the salt just before grilling to keep the meat tender. Enjoy with a glass of Beefsteak Club Asado Edition Cabernet Sauvignon!
Tip: To further tenderise the steaks and for extra flavour, allow to marinate overnight!

This richly coloured Cabernet Sauvignon comes from grapes grown in the cooler regions of the Central Valley in Chile.
