Nicola’s passion for bees started in her garden in the Cotswolds. Having never stepped foot into the bee-keeping world, one day, Nicola decided to buy her very first bee hive.
There are about 60,000 honey bees in a single colony - Nicola nourished them, learnt from them and dedicated her spare time to this first colony. At this point, there was just enough delicious honey to give some jars to friends.
Since then the bee hive count has expanded to 130 and these hives, across Milbury and Marlborough, produce honey for making honey spirits.
All of the bee hives are looked after by avid beekeeper Pete. He loves to spend his spare time looking after the bees, thinking of their every move and planning his days around them, so he can make sure that the bees get all that they need. Beeble is responsible for the existence of almost eight million bees in Wiltshire.
