Enjoy Zacapa Solera Gran Reserva neat, over a large ice cube, or in classic rum cocktails. This ultra-premium rum is created by Master Blender Lorena Vásquez using virgin honey from the first pressing of sugar cane. The rum originates from Guatemala, aged 2,300 metres above sea level in the House Above the Clouds.
UNIQUE FEATURES - Crafted in Guatemala, Zacapa Solera Gran Reserva is an expression of patience, richness and quality created by Master Blender Lorena Vásquez.
HOW IT'S MADE - Zacapa Solera Gran Reserva is an ultra-premium rum that instead of molasses, uses the virgin honey, which is obtained from the first pressing of the sugar cane. The casks used in the ageing of Zacapa Rum were previously used to age American whiskies and wines from Jerez and Pedro Ximénez. Crafted in Zacapa's famous 'House Above the Clouds', at an altitude of 2,300 meters in Guatemala. The moderate to cool climate of the mountains slows down the ageing process and gives the exquisite rum the time to develop its complex aromas - for a high-quality rum with perfectly balanced flavours!
TASTING NOTES - Wonderfully intricate with honeyed butterscotch, spiced and raisined fruit, showcasing the complexity of its unique ageing process. Smooth, rounded & elegant - that's the nature of Zacapa Rum.
SERVE - Enjoy Zacapa Solera Gran Reserva neat, over a large ice cube, or elevate classic rum cocktails such as an Old Fashioned, Manhattan, Espresso Martini or in a highball with tonic water and a lime wheel.
