WARNING! Choking hazard due to small parts - not suitable for children under 3 years. Caution: All art materials can stain. Inks are permanent on fabric and porous surfaces. Cover your work area and clothing to protect against staining. Keep inks away from wallpaper, matt finish paint, unfinished wood, vinyl, carpeting, coulter tops and other stain-able materials. Please retain packaging for future reference.

Have an adult present while making your new creation. Wash your finished creation separately a few times on low/cold setting.

  • 1. Before you begin, wash your item first, following washing instructions. Do not let item dry fully.
  • 2. Always wear gloves when handling dye. Wash hands if skin comes into contact with dye.
  • 3. Cut edge of dye packet, pour the entire contents of the colour powder bag into the bottle.
  • 4. Add warm water. Don't go above the max filling point, to avoid spilling.
  • 5. Carefully close the lid, make sure tight, shake to mix powder.
  • 6. Add item into the Tie Dye bowl, leaving the sieve shelf section in.
  • 7. Add the ink to the item, repeat with different colours. Turning the item to make sure ink fully covered. See leaflet for tie dye styles.
  • 8. Carefully attach the lid, leave over night.
  • 9. Rinse through, until the water is clear. Carefully drain the liquid into sink.
  • 10. Wash item. See important information above.
  • 11. Hang out to dry, then enjoy your new creation.
