The William Morris At Home Roman Blind in River Blue Iris is a British-made window treatment featuring a vibrant floral pattern inspired by an English country garden. With a blackout lining option, it helps create a dark and cosy bedroom environment.
This design, originally created in 1887 as a wallpaper, features a lively arrangement of marigolds, distinctive blossoms, and small birds woven among hawthorn branches. Printed on cotton, this design beautifully evokes the vibrant blooms of an English country garden.
All William Morris at Home made to measure roman blinds come with a choice of heading options and lining finishes. Blackout blinds are perfect for a bedroom to help minimise the light and keep the warmth in.
Roman Blinds: In most cases, due to the roll width of roman blind fabric, blinds over 1350mm wide will come with two vertical joins to create 3 panels on the blind. The middle panel is always the largest panel with the left and right panel being equal. We ensure all panels are pattern matched.
All blinds that are operated with cords or chains must always be secured with a child safety device, whether or not you have children living with you. This is now covered by European law and so the correct safety hook is included with every product, for fitting at the same time as your new blind. Please follow installation instructions, but as a guideline the device should be fitted at a height of at least 1.5 metres from the ground. The looped chain or cord should be keep taut and out of reach of children. Some blinds are also fitted with breakaway components as an additional safety feature.
