Wildflower seeds may be sown when the soil temperature is between 10-18C.
Prepare Area for Sowing
1. Remove any large stones and weeds.
2. Dig over soil and level out.
3. If soil is very dry, water 24 hours before sowing.
Sowing Seeds
1. Shake the box well before use.
2. To ensure even sow in a coverage, criss-cross pattern.
3. Firm seeds down onto soil and gently water them.
General Advice
- Water daily, preferably in the evening until seedlings appear, and then as required depending on weather conditions
- For an earlier and even better show, you can plant in the Autumn (Aug-Oct) for flowering in the following spring
- Protect young plants from pests, particularly slugs
- Children and pets need not be excluded from treated areas
- Wash hands after use
- This product contains a mixture of grasses and wildflowers and is intended for the establishment of a wildflower meadow, to attract bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects to your garden
