Create a Hedgehog Highway

Provide Nesting Sites
Log and leaf piles, wilderness areas, purpose-built hedgehog homes all make good places for hedgehogs to nest. Fallen leaves make very good nesting material. Try placing hay or leaves under a dry shed, thick hedge or log pile for them as a place to hibernate.

• Feed approximately a handful of food per night from a ground tray or dish.
• Before serving to young hedgehogs, soak the food in warm water to soften.
• Suitable for year round feeding.
• Suitable for hedgehogs of all ages.
• Make water available to drink from a shallow bowl. Never feed hedgehogs milk as it can cause diarrhoea.

Hygiene is important. Prevent bacteria build up by cleaning feeders and feeding areas with a mild disinfectant, removing leftovers and wet food. This food is free from artificial colourings, flavourings and preservatives.
