A full-bodied coffee with notes of dark chocolate and a smooth, lingering finish. Our espresso coffee beans are roasted in Italy by a fifth generation family business founded in 1856. They secure the best beans from trusted growers, blend them to create a distinctive flavour profile, and slowly drum roast them to bring out the richness and intensity that makes the perfect espresso.

Storage: The flavour and aroma of coffee is affected by contact with air. Once opened re-close tin using lid and store in a cool place or refrigerator to prolong its freshness. Use within two weeks of opening. For best before end date see base of pack.
Usage: Preparation: Waitrose italian espresso is designed to make the perfect short, dark, intense espresso shot, and can also be used as the base for an authentic cappuccino or latte. Some 100% arabica coffees fight with the sweetness of milk, but ours is carefully blended so that it can be enjoyed black, or with hot or cold milk. The fineness of the coffee grind is as important to the quality of the drink as the way the coffee is roasted or blended, so use the coarsest grind if you make your coffee in a cafetiere, medium for filter machines and the finest for stovetops and traditional espresso machines.
