Waitrose Large Wholemeal Tortilla Wraps 8 Pack

A great alternative to sandwiches with your favourite fillings, or served warm for burritos and fajitas. Delicious filled with prawns, crunchy lettuce and mayonnaise.

Ingredients: Wholemeal wheat flour, water, palm oil (certified sustainable), raising agents (disodium diphosphate, sodium hydrogen carbonate), humectant (vegetable glycerol), acidity regulator (citric acid), sugar, emulsifier (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), salt, preservative (calcium propionate), wheat starch

Cooking Instructions:

• Hob: FRY: 15 seconds. Remove all packaging. Separate tortillas from each other. Place one tortilla into the dry frying pan over a high heat. Turn once during heating. Ensure product is thoroughly heated.
• Oven cook: Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Wrap all tortillas in aluminium foil and place in the middle of a preheated oven. Ensure product is thoroughly heated. (Time 8 minutes, Oven: 200°C, Fan: 180°C, Gas: Gas Mark 6)
• Microwave: Microwave ovens vary: refer to handbook. Remove all packaging. Place on a microwaveable plate. Heat for the time specified above. (800W: 1 tortilla 8 seconds / 8 tortillas 30 seconds, 900W: 1 tortilla 7 seconds / 8 tortillas 25 seconds, 1000W: 1 tortilla 6 seconds / 8 tortillas 20 seconds)

Storage: Store in a cool dry place. Once opened, reseal bag using peel and reseal and consume within 24 hours. Do not exceed best before date. For best before date see front of pack.

Freeze as soon after purchase as possible and within the best before date. Use within one month. Freeze the tortillas in the packaging, if using all at once. Alternatively, freeze by rolling up each tortilla wrap, place back into the pack and take out as and when required. Defrost fully before use: do not refreeze once defrosted. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 2 hours at room temperature. Once thawed, use within 1 day.

Serving Suggestion: Simply fill and roll with your choice of filling for a great sandwich alternative.
