Established in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot, the Veuve Clicquot Champagne house is, unquestionably, one of the great names in champagne today. Under the guise of Madame Nicole-Barbe, the House developed the remuage process, whereby Champagne would no longer need to be decanted off its lees. This Vintage has all the hallmarks of great champagne - rich, yeasty, nutty and beautifully balanced, with a long elegant finish.
