Regional information: Luján de Cuyo is the most recognised Malbec region in the world, with vineyards over 100 years old - a source of the finest and most complex Malbec the world has to offer. Mendoza's climate is characterized by being arid, rainfall is scarce, with an average annual rainfall of 200mm. Temperatures have a significant daily oscillation which favours the development of the ripeness of the grape.
Vinification: Malbec grapes are hand-selected, destemmed and crushed. Natural malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 26˚C for 21-23 days. The wine is then aged for 12 months - 96% in French oak barrels & 4% in French oak foudres. It is further aged in the bottle for 12 months.
