This giant of the sage family was traditionally used in the musky perfumes of the rich aristocracy. The tall purple and pink flowers are laden with fragrance during the summer months and when cut down, the plant is sticky with essential oil. In modern aromatherapy, Clary Sage has been known to be used for women during transitional periods such as puberty, labour and menopause due to its restorative and balancing effects

Directions:

Massage – Add 5 drops of essential oil to 10ml of blending oil Bath -Add 4 to 6 drops of essential oil to 20ml of blending oil and swirl into water Vaporising – Add 6 to 8 drops of essential oil to a vaporiser or burner
