This coffee is grown on the shores of Lake Tawa in the north of Sumatra, the home of the Sumatran tiger. The coffee is slowly roasted to a deep colour to develop its rich chocolatey flavour, heavy body and a smooth velvety aftertaste.
With over 75 years of experience, Smith’s Coffee Company is a family run business which offers a comprehensive range of freshly roasted coffee beans from around the world. The coffee beans originate from exotic locations around the world famous for their wonderful coffee production and offer a delightful complexity of flavours and aromas. Beans are roasted to order at the company’s Hemel Hempstead factory in Hertfordshire and shipped out the next day to ensure optimum freshness and exceptional taste.
The Natural Coffee Company range was created in 2002 to promote the sales of ethical Fairtrade and organic coffees which are certified and registered with the Fairtrade Foundation and Soil Association.
