The Lakes Distillery's Whiskymaker, Dhavall Gandhi, takes inspiration from the UNESCO World Heritage Site where a state-of-the-art distillery has been built meticulously within a 160-year-old farmstead on the banks of the River Derwent. The One Cask Finishes are a showcase of our whiskymaker's maturation expertise. Each singular release has been finished in the finest oak casks, demonstrating the influence oak and cask seasoning has on whisky flavour elevation.An uplifting whisky finished in bespoke Moscatel wine casks, this is a singular blend of select grain and malt Scotch whiskies from Speyside and Islay with The Lakes Single Malt at its heart. Fragrant jasmine and honeyed fruits on the nose lead to a delicate and uplifting palate of citrus with underlying notes of vanilla and manuka honey, with a clean, smooth and lingering finish.Non-chill filtered for a richer mouthfeel and fuller flavour. Bottled at natural colour.Enjoy as you please.
