Legend has it that a ship carrying spiced rum from the sunny shores of the Caribbean was set upon by a monstrous ocean beast, the Kraken! The creature dragged the vessel and her crew into the inky depths below.
All the rum on board was lost, except for one bottle. Stained by the giant squids black ink it was dubbed ‘The Kraken Rum’.
Blended with a mix of secret spices this unique Caribbean black spiced rum is strong, rich and smooth. Its colour reflects the ink of the legendary sea beast.
Tasting Notes:
Notes of caramel and toffee greet the nose with a generous sprinkle of spice. Cinnamon, vanilla and other warming spices prevail on the tongue with a long spicy finish.
Recipe Suggestion: Cephalopunch
- Add Kraken Spiced Rum, pineapple juice and grenadine to a shaker with ice and shake vigorously
- Fill a Tiki glass half full with crushed ice and strain in the mixed drink
- Top the Tiki glass with more ice, garnish with a pineapple leaf and enjoy with a metal straw
