Dave was just finishing up a shift cooking in The Happy Pear kitchen when he met a lovely American man called Jim in the cafe. They got chatting and somehow granola came up. Jim was extremely into granola and had made it for years in a healthy hospital in San Francisco. He had the recipe in his head and said to Dave, "Hey man, if the kitchen is free, I'm free for an hour, I can make it with you now. We can see if it's better than Your granola!" So that was it, he came into the kitchen and showed Dave how to do it and this is the basis of our scrumptious recipe! Hence the name "Cool Jim's Granola." We love adding fresh blueberries to ours, why not give it a go!
