Our digital thermometer has a soft flexible tip making it a quick and easy way to measure your baby's temperatures but is also suitable for the whole family to use. The flexible tip thermometer can take temperatures readings from under the tongue or armpit. A temperature reading is provided in 10 seconds with a fever alert sound if a high temperature is detected. The memory function displays the last recorded temperature.
Preparation and usage When using for the first time the screen will display the symbols -. This is a normal operation. Read the enclosed instruction leaflet carefully before use and keep in a safe place for reference. The British Medical Association recommends that the value that represents normal body temperature is 37C. However, there is a variation between individuals. A child's normal temperature may vary between 36C and 37.5C. If a child's temperature goes over 39C or remains above normal for more than two days seek medical advice. If you are at all concerned or unsure, seek medical advice.
