Tesco Health Wound Closure Strips help to close and support small cuts and minor wounds, by helping to keep the edges of wounds together they reduce further bleeding and scarring. These strips use a low allergy adhesive and are kind to skin.

Preparation and usage

Directions for use

• Clean and dry the wound and surrounding area.
• Remove the closures from the wrapper.
• Tear away the small perforated tab from one end of the backing card.
• Remove at a 45 degree angle to prevent strip from curling.
• Apply half of the first closure, press firmly down next to and in the opposite direction of the wound.
• Line up the skin edges of the cut and place firmly across the pulled together skin to the other side of the wound.
• Place additional strips across the wound 2-3mm apart as required.

Removal

• For ease of removal, apply light pressure at the centre of the strip, then alternately peel back the strip from each end towards the cut site.
• Gently remove the whole strip.

Store in a cool, dry place
