INGREDIENTS: Wheat Flour [Wheat Flour, Calcium, Folic Acid, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin], Green Coloured Fondant [Sugar, Palm Oil, Glucose Syrup, Safflower Concentrate, Spirulina Concentrate, Emulsifier (Mono- and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids), Humectant (Glycerol), Stabilisers (Xanthan Gum, Carboxymethylcellulose), Preservative (Potassium Sorbate), Flavouring], Sugar, Whey Powder (Milk), Demerara Sugar, Edible Wafer Decoration [Potato Starch, Olive Oil, Sunflower Oil, Emulsifier (Soya Lecithins), Colour (Vegetable Carbon)], Flavouring, Raising Agent (Sodium Bicarbonate), Salt.

Cooking Time: 13-15 minutes

Method: Oven

Makes: 6 cookies

What You will need:

For the cookie:

• 45g softened butter
• 15ml water

To make the cookies:

• 1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas 4.
• 2. Empty the cookie mix sachet into a bowl, add softened butter and water and mix with a spoon until combined.
• 3. Knead by hand for 1 minute to form a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and chill for 10-15 minutes.
• 4. Split dough into 7 pieces & roll into balls.
• 5. Place each ball evenly spaced on a baking tray and press lightly to 1.5cm thickness.
• 6. Bake in the centre of the oven for 13-15 minutes.
• 7. Once cooled, set aside one of the cookies and break into 6 random pieces for the monster mouths.

Decoration:

• 1. For optimum results, place the green fondant into the fridge to chill for 30 minutes.
• 2. Grate the chilled green fondant icing and divide equally onto each of the 6 cookies.
• 3. Add the wafer eyes and place the broken cookie pieces underneath the eyes for the monster mouth effect.
