A rich, indulgent sauce with sweet cherry tomatoes, creamy feta and fragrant basil

INGREDIENTS: Tomato Purée, Cherry Tomato (12%), Rapeseed Oil, Feta Cheese (Milk) (7%), Sugar, Water, Double Cream (Milk), Sundried Tomatoes, Modified Maize Starch, Basil, Salt, Pasteurised Egg Yolk, Roasted Garlic Purée, Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid), Stabiliser (Xanthan Gum), Dried Garlic, Oregano.

Preparation and usage:

Tomato and Feta Pasta Bake.

  • Serves 4
  • Cooking time: 45 minutes.
  • Method: Oven.

Ingredients: 200g of dry pasta; 300ml of double cream; 100g Feta cheese; 1 jar of Finest Tomato, Feta and Basil Pasta Sauce.

Method:

  • 1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6.
  • 2. Put the pasta into a 1.5L shallow ovenproof dish.
  • 3. Pour on the sauce and fill the empty jar with 300ml of double cream and top up with water to top of the label and stir into the pasta, coating well.
  • 4. Bake uncovered, for 35 minutes.
  • 5. Remove the dish from the oven and stir thoroughly. Sprinkle on 100g grated Feta cheese and return to the oven for 10 minutes until bubbling and golden.

Leave to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
