About this product

The D Cell Air Pump comes with 3 multi-purpose valve adapters to inflate and deflate airbeds, pool toys, camping mats, floats and more. Great for in home use.

Preparation and usage

Operation

Inflating

• 1. Open the external stopper of the valve and pull out to extend.
• 2. Attach one of the adaptor nozzles to the inflation end of the pump.
• 3. Connect the pump to your inflatable product and turn it on by selecting switch position -. To turn off, select O.
• 4. Gently twist the adaptor whilst backing the valve from the pump.
• 5. Remove the pump and close the external stopper.

Deflating

Remove the adaptor nozzle from the inflation port of the pump and attach to the deflation port. Then repeat the steps taken for inflation as above.

Pump disposal

Meaning of crossed-out wheeled dustbin:

Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities. Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being. • 1. This high-volume pump is intended for the inflation and deflation of items such as airbeds, inflatable toys, etc. Please note, this pump is NOT suitable for tyres.
• 2. Due to the risk of electric shock, do not operate this pump in wet conditions.

WARNING:

• 1. Never attempt to disassemble or close the opening while the pump is in operation.
• 2. Never leave the pump unattended whilst in operation. Keep out of the reach of the children.
• 3. Never allow small items like sand, gravel, etc. to be sucked into the inflation/deflation openings during operation.

Battery Instructions:

• Do not mix used and new batteries.
• Always use one type of battery. Do not mix alkaline, standard (zinc-carbon) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Ensure batteries are installed to the correct polarity (+/-).
• Do not short-circuit the batteries.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged as this may cause leakage, fire or explosion.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product before being charged.
• Never attempt to disassemble or open batteries as this can lead to electrolyte burns.
• Remove the batteries if this product is not going to be used for an extended period of time.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from this product.
• Waste electrical products/batteries should not be disposed of with household waste. Separate disposal facilities exist.
• Do not expose batteries to excessive heat, such as direct sunlight, fires, heaters etc.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
